The Achinsk Oil Refinery of the Eastern Oil Company is an oil refinery located in the Bolsheuluysky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory . The only refinery in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The installed refining capacity is 7.5 million tons of oil per year.

History
Construction of the plant began in 1972. The first ANPZ products were produced on December 12, 1982. The process of corporatization was carried out in May 1993.
Since May 2007, OAO ANPZ VNK has been a member of the Rosneft Group of Companies.

Activities
Achinsk oil refinery produces more than one hundred types of oil products.
In 2013, the Achinsk Oil Refinery together with the Spetstyzhavtotrans group of companies became the world record holder for the carriage of the heaviest cargo (hydrocracking reactor) by the furthest distance —203 kilometers — from the village of Kubekovo, Krasnoyarsk Territory, to the Achinsk Oil Refinery [3] .

June 15, 2014 at 23:37 there was an explosion at the Achinsk oil refinery. The message to rescuers arrived at 23:53. Upon arrival at the emergency site, it was found that a separate distillation column of the gas fractionation unit near the workshop No. 1 was destroyed. A fire occurred in the bunding over an area of 300 sq. M. m. At 01:05 a fire was localized on an area of 400 square meters. m. An explosion and fire killed eight people. The gas fractionation unit for primary oil refining was destroyed.
In September of the same year, the plant partially resumed operation. [4] At the end of 2014, Rostekhnadzor completed an investigation and decided that the direct cause of the disaster was the corrosion of the pipeline [5] . In 2016, the technical supervision engineer and installation operator were found guilty of the accident [6] .
The explosion and fire at the Achinsk Oil Refinery became the largest insurance event in the world in 2014 [7] . Insurance payments of the SOGAZ insurance company in favor of Rosneft amounted to 16.7 billion rubles [8] .
