Type Aliya
Israeli Shipyards built 2 boats of this type. Boats of this type are the smallest specialized aircraft carriers (having a hangar and a runway) in the world. The standard helicopter for this type of boat was the Eurocopter AS565 Panther . Up to two helicopters can board a boat. In the summer of 2004, both boats were sold to Mexico and became part of the Mexican Navy in August 2004. According to the Jane's handbook, the contract value amounted to $ 15.8 million.

Type Hets
Originally built as a Nirit type. They were renamed “Hets” after the sale of Saar 3 boats in Chile. The first boat of this type went into operation in 1991. Also, 3 Saar 4 boats (Reshef type) were upgraded in boats of this type. They were distinguished from Aliya type boats by the absence of a helicopter hangar and armament. As of 2004, there were 8 boats of this type in the Israeli Navy.
