The village is located at an altitude of 174 meters above sea level [2] .

Infrastructure

In the village there are 3 kindergartens with 130 children and 9 teachers, 1 lyceum with 535 students and 42 teachers. There is a puppet theater, a sports dance club, a folk dance center, two choirs, the Lacrimioarele girl ensemble, the Mask theater group, and sports clubs. Two libraries work. Baraboy has 14.5 km of roads, of which 4 km are paved. 670 houses and three budgetary institutions were gasified (Prometey Theoretical Lyceum, AgroBaraboieni JSC and City Hall. 33 houses and lyceum were connected to the water supply.
