The administrative center is the city of Alyoshka . On the way, the path from Alyoshek to Kherson is 7 km.

History
Date of foundation of the district: 1923 - 1925 In 1928–2016, the district was called Tsyurupinsky . It was renamed to Alyoshkovsky district by the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of May 19, 2016 [2] .
Administrative Division
In the region there are 1 city council, 2 village councils and 12 village councils , and in the territories subordinate to them are located: the city of regional significance - Alyoshki, 2 urban-type villages ( Brilevka and Novaya Mayachka ), 5 villages and 23 villages.
Transport Infrastructure
An important railway line Kherson - Crimea , national roads, the Moldavia - Odessa , Crimea - Kryvyi Rih , Donbas - Rostov-on-Don motorways pass through the district.
