Born in 1958 in Stalinsk (now Novokuznetsk ). Since 1975 he lived in Tomsk .
He graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University (Applied Mathematics, 1980) and the Literary Institute named after A. M. Gorky in Moscow (poetry, 1990).
Since 1991 lives in Israel.
