Snezhura - snow cover or accumulation of snow on the water, formed during heavy snowfall on the surface of the water close to the freezing point. Quickly soaked with water and forms a pasty viscous mass. Freezing, forms slug . In a storm, it is dangerous for ships, because when it hits the deck, it causes rapid icing.
With the advent of Snezhur, the process of ice formation often begins, and on small non-flowing water bodies and small rivers with a weak flow of Snegur often serves as the main component of the ice cover [1] .
In Murmansk or White Sea coast-dwellers, Snezhura was called βbakaldaβ [2] .
