At the 1904 Games in St. Louis, Heberkorn first participated in a tug of war. He was part of the third US team, which took third place and won bronze medals.
Heberkorn competed only in the category up to 65.8 kg [2] . He reached the quarter finals, where he lost to Albert Zerkl .
