Kolomenskoye (station)

Kolomenskoye is a junction railway station of the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway in Moscow. It is part of the Moscow-Gorky Center for the Organization of Work of Railway Stations DTSS-8 of the Moscow Directorate of Traffic Management. The main nature of the work is intermediate, the volume of work is assigned to class 3.

The station was built at the opening of the railway line from Pavelets to Moscow.

Located in the Nagorny district, near the Warsaw highway . It is a transfer to the Varshavskaya metro station. Nearby, on the Warsaw highway, is the Warsaw Trade and Leisure Center, on the other side of the railway there is a large food market - Shopping Center On Warsaw.

The station has two passenger island platforms connected by an underpass to the metro station. Equipped with turnstiles . The first platform is used for ordinary trains (tracks I, II), from the second train depart only a few times a day (tracks III, 5). Two ticket offices work, one of them is in the underpass in front of the metro entrance, and the other is in front of the exit from the Kashirsky passage.

An electrified connecting line departs from the northern neck of the station to the non-passenger station Kanatchikovo of the Moscow ring railway .

It is located very far from the Kolomenskoye park, closer to which since 1969 there have been two metro stations, one of which is called Kolomenskaya.
