Paysandu ( Port. Paysandu Sport Club ) - Brazilian football club from the city of Belen , State Para . Paysandu is the most titled club in the state. This is the only state team to win the prestigious all-Brazilian tournament - the Brazil Champions Cup in 2002. This made it possible for the team to perform in the next season in the Libertadores Cup, which is also a unique achievement for teams from the state of Para. Since 2019, the club has been performing in Series C of Brazil.

Content
History
The club was founded on January 2, 1914 under the name Paysandu Foot-Ball Club . In 1920, the club first became the champion of the state of Para. With 42 titles, Paysandu is currently the most titled club in the state.
After success in the early 2000s - victory in the North Cup, Brazil Champions Cup , participation in the Libertadores Cup , Paysandu began to gradually lose ground and in 2007 rolled into Serie C Brazil. The team from Belem managed to return to the second tier of Brazilian football only at the end of the 2012 season thanks to the fourth place in Serie C.
The most important rivals of Paysandu are Remo Club and Tuna Luzo .
