Ciobanu, Angela

Angela Ciobanu was born in a Moldovan family. In 1992 she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio (course of V. N. Bogomolov ). Then she was invited to the Chisinau National Theater. M. Eminescu , where she still works. Her memorable roles are Pietra Cotes (“ One Hundred Years of Solitude ” by G. Marquez), Mademoiselle Cucu (“Nameless Star”), M. Sebastian, Zoe Trahanache - (“The Lost Letter” by I. L. Karadzhiale), Isadora Duncan (“When Isadora Dancing ”,“ Cind Isadora dansa ”), Sonya (“ Uncle Vanya ”by A.P. Chekhov), Lucinda (“ Mélière Involuntarily ”), Lady Torrens (“ In the Snake Skin ”based on the play“ Orpheus Goes to Hell ”T . Williams).

In 2005, Angelo Ciobanu was invited to the role in the film " Creation of Love " by film director Valeriu Zheregi . This collaboration has grown into a strong creative union of the director and actress, which inspired Zheregi to make her debut in the theater, staging the theater and television play “ In the Snake Skin ” (based on the Tennessee Williams play “Orpheus Goes Down to Hell”) with Angela Ciobanu in the title role. Also Angela Ciobanu is the first member of the "Acting Agency Valeriu Zheregi ", ^[1] . Currently, Angela Ciobanu is one of the leading contemporary actresses in Moldova.
