Story
The game takes place in the distant future. Mankind conquered space a decade ago, deploying mining, manufacturing, trading and, of course, criminal activity in the open spaces of the galaxy. Since the forces of Patrol, local police, and especially VKS, the low mobile military space fleet of the emperor Ezar 4, are not able to cope with transgalactic lines, the government legalized the institute of “bounty hunters” - mercenaries owning high-speed space fighters and designed to fight with all sorts of criminals. It is in the role of such a mercenary that the player enters the game, having at first only a small amount of money, a couple of ships and a lot of ambitions.
Along the way, the main character has to fight with pirates, guard merchant ships, participate in the hunt for the famous Red Corsair, prey on the passions of uranium fever, perform secret tasks, and even serve as an emperor's agent. A player's team can have up to six unique characters, each of which has its own appearance, voice, abilities, and history. During the game, the characteristics of the characters grow, new unique skills are added.
Gameplay
The menu and control panel are made intuitively clear so that the user can quickly find the desired functions. At the very beginning there is an opportunity to perform a training task that allows you to try all the most important tasks. The main part of the passage is based on space battles, where a significant number of small ships take part in battles. There is a familiar role-playing system, where they have to improve their spacecraft with the help of new weapons and additional modules. Each pilot can increase his level over time, gaining experience from participating in battles in order to learn new skills later [1] .

Country of Games | 8/10 [2] |
A critic of the magazine " Country of Games " noted in the game a rich tactical component, an exciting process of "pumping" pilots and dizzying panoramas of space. At the same time, he considered that the Star Wolves had an inconvenient camera, a “clichéd” game universe and scanty sound. Summarizing reported that this is a “wonderful debut” of the studio, which borrowed the best features from real-time space strategies and role-playing games [2] .
Heritage of the Empire
"Heritage of the Empire" - the most famous modification to the game, created by "Elite Games". Adds a new plot, alternative ending, new equipment and weapons.
