Eibar ( Basque. Eibar , Spanish Éibar ) - a city and municipality in Spain , is part of the province of Gipuzkoa in the autonomous community of the Basque Country . The municipality is part of the Baho Deva district (mosquito). It covers an area of 24.78 km². The population is 27,404 according to the 2007 census. The distance to the provincial capital is 50 km.
