Career

At age 15, Christian was taken to the Boca Juniors youth team. In 2001, he moved to the Italian Lecce , where he later became the team captain.

In June 2006, the Roman “Lazio” acquired Ledesmu. The player’s contract was signed until 2011 in the amount of 450 thousand euros per year. In the club Christian played a very important role in the center of midfield . On August 24, 2010, Ledesma extended the contract with Lazio until 2015 [2] .

In 2015, Ledesma moved to the Brazilian Santos.

On November 14, 2010, Cesare Prandelli was called up to the Italian team for a friendly match against Romania [3] .

November 17, 2010 he made his debut in the Italian national team in a friendly match against the Romanian national team, held in the Austrian Klagenfurt (came out at the base and was replaced by De Rossi at the beginning of the second half) [4] [5] .
