Jeanne III of France ( May 2, 1308 - August 13, 1347 ) - Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Burgundy and Countess of Artois, the eldest daughter of King Philip V Long and Countess of Jeanne II d'Artois .

He was married ( June 18, 1318 , Nozhon-sur-Cenis) to Ed IV , Duke of Burgundy and the titular king of Thessalonica .
Inherited from its mother (1330) the county of Artois and the county county of Burgundy (Franche-Comté).
Had six sons, of which the most famous are Jean Capet and Philip, nicknamed Monsignor (1323–1346). He died tragically, trampled by a horse, a year before his mother died. Therefore, all the possessions of Jeanne III inherited her grandson Philip I of Ruvras .
