Guia de Isora ( Spanish: Guía de Isora ) - a municipality in Spain , is part of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the autonomous community of the Canary Islands , with the administrative center in the city of the same name . Located in the western part of Tenerife . It covers an area of ​​143.42 km². The population is 20,535 people (as of 2010 ).

History

In 1605, a church was erected on the island in honor of Our Lady of Guy, around which the construction of the settlement began [3] .

In 1812, the municipality of Guia was formed, and in 1916, received the current name [4] .
