Sports
Somosas Football Club performs in the season 2016/2017 in the first group of the division of the Segund B [1] . In 2014, the club took part in the Spanish Cup 2014/2015 draw and passed to the second qualifying stage.

Somosas became one of the places where oil products collected after the crash of the Prestige tanker were stored [2] .
