Dan Harrington ( born Dan Harrington ; born December 6, 1945 , Cambridge , Massachusetts , USA ) is a professional poker player . Member of the Poker Hall of Fame since 2010 . The holder of two bracelets of the World Series of Poker , including winning the main tournament of the series in 1995 . Winner of the World Poker Tour Tournament. One of the five players to win the main WSOP and WPT tournaments.

In addition to playing poker, Harrington was the winner of the World Backgammon Cup in 1981, as well as a chess master. In addition, he is engaged in real estate.
In 1995, he won the WSOP Main Event, defeating Howard Goldfarb in the final ( 9 ♦ 8 ♦ against A ♥ 7 ♣ ). In 1987 , 2003 and 2004, Harrington was at the final table of the tournament.
