Biography
He graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory ( 1880 ) as a pianist with Vladimir Pukhalsky and Karl Fan-Ark , then improved under the direction of Leshetitsky .
Concerted in Russia. In 1882, he opened music courses in St. Petersburg and led them for many years, since 1894 he also taught at the Nikolaev Orphanage Institute. He compiled a number of pedagogical collections for training pianists, including six issues of the “Collection of Etudes”, six issues of the “Big School of Technology”, and the collection “Recueil des compositions classiques et modernes ...” (200 piano pieces).
