He was buried at home, in Krasnoyarsk, on the Walk of Fame of the Badalyk cemetery .
Defending the Motherland from the Nazi invaders in the forties, celebrating the nationwide Victory, I could not have thought that in fifty-four years, in peacetime, such grief would come: the loss of the first grandson on the battlefield ... The fact that he became the Hero of Russia is not a consolation . But I myself helped him grow up as an officer, a man of honor and heroism! And I, an old eighty-year-old soldier of the Great Patriotic War, bow my head gray over the grave of my grandson - forever remaining young, twenty-seven ...
Konstantin Arkhipovich Lukashevich, Oleg’s grandfather [2]
The street and school in the village of Severo-Yeniseisk are named after Tibekin. The same school was graduated in 1942 by the Hero of the Soviet Union Yefim Semyonovich Belinsky . It so happened that both graduates of this school died, saving their soldiers on the same day - December 16, only with a difference of 55 years.
November 15, 2002 in Nizhny Novgorod , in a military town, a bust of the hero was installed. [3]
