Teresa Parodi ( Spanish: Teresa Parodi , real name: Teresa Adelina Sellares , Spanish: Teresa Adelina Sellares ; born December 30, 1947 , Corrientes ) is an Argentinean pop-folk singer.

In 1980 , she released her first album, Theresa Parody of Corrientes. In 1984 she was awarded a prize at the National Festival of Folk Art. The album "El purajhei" ( 1985 ) received platinum status in Argentina. Later, she also became a laureate of the prize of the Association of Theater Critics of Argentina ( 1994 ) and the Carlos Gardel Prize ( 2003 ).
