Kirill Vasilievich Bardin ( December 1, 1929 , Moscow - 1995 , Moscow) - Soviet and Russian psychologist , specialist in the field of psychophysics , general and educational psychology , Doctor of Psychology ( 1976 ), professor, master of sports in water tourism. He graduated from the Psychology Department of the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University (1954), and began his scientific career at the Institute of Psychology of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR under the leadership of P. A. Shevarev . Since 1972, he worked at the Institute of Psychology of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR , in recent years he has been the main research assistant . His name is firmly connected with the revival in Russian psychology of the first experimental discipline - psychophysics - and its development at the modern scientific level , the zone theory of the threshold region was developed and experimentally substantiated (simultaneously with M. B. Mikhalevskaya), discovered the phenomenon of sensitivity increase as a result of extracting by the observer from sensory information about a simple signal the signs of other modalities . On this basis, he developed the concept of reorganization of the sensory space. He also wrote the first Russian monograph on the problems and methods of psychophysics (1976). The works of K. V. F. Lomov ) Author of 128 scientific and 54 popular science works, including 15 books, as well as 24 articles in foreign languages.
