It was commissioned on December 28, 1940 . Entered the 24th flotilla , from October 1, 1941 was in the 21st flotilla , from March 1, 1945 was part of the 31st flotilla . In all the flotilla was used as a training submarine. May 2, 1945 flooded crew in the port city of Wilhelmshaven .
