Ksuf ( dr. Greek Ξοῦθος ) - a character of ancient Greek mythology [5] . The son of Ellin [6] and Orseids (or the son of Aeolus and the grandson of Zeus [7] ). Got the Peloponnese . The wife of Creus (daughter of Erechtheus) gave birth to him Achaeus , Jonah and daughter Diomedes [8] .

The brothers expelled Xuf from Thessaly , accusing him of stealing some of his father’s wealth. He fled to Athens and married the daughter of Erechtheus . In the dispute of the sons of Erechtheus about power, he chose Kekrop as king, for this the remaining sons expelled him. Ksuf went to Aigial , settled there and died [9] . Helped Athens in the war with the Ebeyans [10] . Ksuf founded the Attic four-city: Enoah, Marathon , Probalinth and Tricorinth [11] . The protagonist of the tragedy of Euripides "Ion".
