Biography
Yuri Sherstnev was born on April 24, 1941 in Moscow in a military family. Father, Sherstnev Boris Illarionovich, died near Stalingrad in 1942. During the war, the family was evacuated to Samarkand ( Uzbek SSR ), then the mother and Yuri moved to the village of Yukamenskoye in Udmurtia . After the war, the family returned to Moscow, in Bolshoi Novinsky Lane (now Novy Arbat ). He studied at school number 637.
In 1963 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course V.K.Monyukova ). He served in the theater. Stanislavsky , the theater-studio " Sphere ", the Theater on Perovskaya . He was busy in the performances of the Center for Drama and Directing of the production of A. Kazantsev and M. Roshchin . Bright performer of negative roles in the movie.
He was seriously interested in music - he played the trumpet, guitar , saxophone , trombone , drum and harmonica . He repaired old musical instruments.
He suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease [1] , due to which the last four years of his life was almost bedridden [2] . Seeking financial help for the purchase of the oxygen concentrator needed for respiration; almost lost his sight [3] . He died on May 12, 2017 [4] from complications due to illness. He was buried at the Borisov cemetery .
Family
Wife - Lyudmila Viktorovna Makeeva, actress and director of the theater. The son is Tamerlan.
