Hajdubösörmen [1] ( Hungarian. Hajdúböszörmény ) is a city in eastern Hungary in the region of Northern Alföld , in the Hajdu-Bihar County . The second most populated copper city after the capital is Debrecen . The population is 32,228 people (2001).

Geography and transport
Hajdubösörmen is located 20 kilometers northwest of Debrecen and 35 kilometers southwest of the city of Nyiregyhaz . The city is located in a flat area east of the Khortobadi National Park. The Debrecen - Miskolc highway passes through the city.
