Geography
The area is 1618 km². The Dnieper , Irdyn , Irdynka , Tiasmin rivers flow through the district. The Irdynskoye bog is located in the district.

The population of the district is 78 thousand people (data of 2005 ), including about 1 thousand people living in urban conditions. In total, there are 39 settlements.
