Car tank - a car equipped with a tank . Designed for transportation and temporary storage of liquids (petroleum products, food products), bulk cargo, liquefied gases.
Tank Parameters
The tank capacity is from 0.8 m³ to 40 m³. It can have a cylindrical , conical , elliptical , rectangular , suitcase shape. The materials from which the vessel is made - steel , aluminum alloys , stainless steel or plastic [1] . Ferrous iron is used less frequently as a base material, due to its high weight relative to aluminum alloys or stainless steel. Aluminum alloys are used in the manufacture of tanks for the transportation of light petroleum products, stainless steel - in the manufacture of vessels for the transport of food liquids, chemical liquids, fuels. Some types of transported products require compliance with the temperature regime, which, in turn, affects the design of tanks - with insulation ( bitumen , milk , etc.) or without insulation (light oil products ). Tanks can be multi-sectional or single-sectional.
