Geography
It is located in the eastern part of the region on the right bank of the Bureya River, 175 km east of Blagoveshchensk , on the Amur highway. 8 km to the west of the village - Bureya railway station on the Trans-Siberian Railway .
History
The settlement was formed in 1900 as a settlement of Nakhalovka, Malinovka village. Refers to the Bureysky parish Zavitinsky County Amur region .
In 1935 it was renamed Pristan-Bureya. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of August 30, 1949, the settlement of Pristan-Bureya became an urban-type settlement called Novobureisky.
