Biography
Andre Diaz - brought up football in the states of Sao Paulo and Parana. The first big club in Diaz’s career was Parana, in 2001-2002 he played for Flamengo. The best years of Andre Diaz’s career took place in São Paulo, with which he won the Brazil championship three times.
The Italian Lazio acquired Diaz from São Paulo for two million euros . This was announced in the news by the TV channel Globo , and then the player’s attorney, Zhilmar Rinaldi , on the Globoesporte website. According to Rinaldi, the contract is signed for three and a half years.
In September 2009, Diaz was called up to the Brazilian national team for the 2010 World Cup qualifier match against Chile , but has not yet made his debut for the national team.
