It is located in the western part of the region on the Olga River, 200 km northeast of the district center and Chegdomyn railway station. Highway to Chegdomyn.

In the village there is a kindergarten, a school, a hospital, a miners' artel, a diesel power station.

History

The status of an urban-type settlement has been since 1942 . In 2011, it became a rural settlement [2] .
