Annie Dupré ( fr. Anny Duperey , real name of fr. Annie Legras , born June 28, 1947 , Ruan ) is a French actress and writer.

Annie Dupre was born in the family of photographer Lucien Legre and his wife Ginette . At the age of 8 years, remains an orphan, her parents die from smoke poisoning in their own bathroom. Annie is brought up by her grandmother and aunt by her father. Later, she will describe these traumatic events in her book “Le Voile noir” , illustrated by her father’s preserved photographs.
From the age of 13, Annie was engaged in dancing, and in 1964 she moved to Paris , where she studied with Rene Simon and played in the theater, working as a model for fashion magazines. The September issue of Vogue 1973 came out with Annie Dupree on the cover.
Annie Dupre noticed Jean-Luc Godard and gave her the first role in “Two or Three Things I Know About Her” in 1966. Dupre is mostly shot in light and uncomplicated entertainment films. Only director Alain Rene in the 1974 film Staviski provided the opportunity to change her image.
Dupre becomes known in 1976 , playing the role of Charlotte in "And the Elephants are Unfaithful," and tried herself in Hollywood , starring in the film "Bobby Dearfield" with Al Pacino .
In parallel, Annie Dupree starred in various television series in France. Currently engaged mainly in literary creativity and is known in France for its sensual novels and short stories.
