η Shield ( lat. η Scuti / η Sct ) is a star that is in the constellation Shield at a distance of approximately 207 light years from us, the apparent magnitude is +4.82. This is an orange giant of spectral class K. This star has a mass of 1.4 times the mass of the sun, the radius is 9.6 times the radius of the sun. The luminosity of a star is 40.5 times more powerful than solar, the surface temperature is heated to 4710 Kelvin.
