Subsequently, game recordings can be used to track illegal actions by teams and players. The number of spectators supported by one HLTV server is limited to 255 slots. To broadcast games with a large number of expected spectators, “bundles” of HLTV servers (internal HLTV Master , external HLTV Dispatcher, and many public HLTV Proxies ) [1] , which form a tree structure, are often used. Spectators are invisible to players on the game server and cannot interfere in the match, and to exclude the possibility of transmitting up-to-date information about the tactical actions of teams using spectators, it is possible to broadcast the game with a certain delay (for example, 30-40 seconds).
The HLTV server starts as a Windows console application (using the hltv.exe file), and it is controlled by special console commands, launch command line parameters, a configuration file (hltv.cfg) that is automatically executed at startup, and other configuration files that can be executed console command exec [имя кон. файла]
