Content
History
It was formed on November 20, 1933 as part of the North Caucasus region , located in the north of the region.
January 10, 1934 included in the Azov-Black Sea Territory [1] .
On July 5, 1934, the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee decided “to transform the Northern Region of the Azov-Black Sea Territory into the North Don Region of the same Territory” [2] .
Its borders almost completely coincided with the post-war Kamensk region , which existed in 1954 - 1957 .
