Club

Robert Aquafresca was born in Turin. He made his first steps on the football field in the local youth team of the same name from Alpignano (province of Turin). At the age of nine, he joined Torino. In his last season for the youth team at Primavera 2004/05 he played fourteen matches and scored two goals [2] .

In the summer of 2005, Aquafresca moved to Milan Internationale , which immediately leased it to Treviso along with 50% of the rights to it. In the summer of 2007, Cagliari exchanged David Suaso for 50% of the rights to Aquafresca. In the summer of 2008, Inter bought the rights to the player and leased it to Cagliari, for which Robert spent 36 matches in Serie A and scored 14 goals, sharing the seventh place on the season's scorers with the Palermo footballers Mikkoli and Cavani . In the summer of 2009, Aquafresca ended up at Genoa , which received the player as part of compensation for the transfer of Diego Milito to Inter. Then Robert was leased to the Atalanta club.

July 19, 2011 he moved to Bologna on a one-year lease with a possible right to buy out [3] [4] .

International

Robert's mother is Polish, and his father is Italian. In this regard, he considered the possibility of playing for the Polish national team, but decided to play for Italy. For the Italian youth team, Aquafresca made his debut on June 1, 2007 in a qualifying match against Albania .
