Lautaria

Lautarii is a folk music ensemble of the Moldavian State Philharmonic , created in 1970 on the basis of the Mugurel folk ensemble, which was organized in 1961 . The name comes from the name of traditional Moldavian singers of Lautars .

The artistic director of the ensemble is Nikolai Bottros . Formed from musicians playing naia , fluier , cymbals , violin , cello , double bass , drum and other folk musical instruments, as well as folk music singers, among whom are singers Nikolay Sulak , Zinaida Zhulya , Nicolae Cibotaru , Lidia Bejenaru . The ensemble's repertoire includes Moldavian folk musical melodies and songs, songs of Moldavian composers. The Lautarius ensemble performed in many cities of the USSR and abroad - in Romania , France , Bulgaria , the USA , Germany , Spain and other countries. The ensemble received many medals and diplomas.

  • Lenin Komsomol Prize (1983) - for high performing skills and promotion of folk art among young people
