Ponyry (station)

Ponyri is a railway station in the Oryol-Kursk region of the Moscow Railway located in the village of the same name in Ponyry, Kursk Region . The turnaround point for electric trains from Kursk and Orel stations (one train per day), located at a distance of 68 km.

There are three low platforms at the station - two island and side. One of the island platforms is badly damaged.

During the war, the station building was badly damaged during the fighting in the summer of 1943 . The modern station building is two-story (three-story in the center), stone, built in the late 1940s - early 1950s, light green in color.
