Create an album
The album was recorded in 1986, at a time when the relationship between the members of the duet Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders was tolerant (before the scandal during a concert in Munich). When recording, a large number of live instruments were used.
The album opens with a song released by the single, “Jet Airliner,” written under the influence of Bohlen from endless air travel. The ballad "We Still Have Dreams" Thomas Anders performed at the festival in Turkish Cesme in 1987. This song was also performed by a newly joined group in 1998 at concerts, however, it was not included in the Back For Good album.
Promotion
In Spain, Anders and Bolen performed a series of television appearances, recording the songs “Jet Airliner”, “Don't Worry”, “Romantic Warriors” and releasing the additional regional single “Don't Worry” in 7 ”and 12” formats. This single has not been released anywhere else. In Germany, the group practically did not conduct promotional campaigns related to the album (only a few television appearances in support of the single “Jet Airliner”), which was explained by the great tension in the personal relations of the duet members and the growing desire of Thomas Anders to take a break for a year or two to rest from endless touring, television and audio recordings. The result was a relatively modest album sales (compared to previous records), incomparable with the commercial potential of the album.
Additional Information
The song “We Still Have Dreams” was preparing in the fall of 1986 for the release of Thomas Anders as a solo single (produced by Dieter Bohlen), as a kind of experiment, inspired by the experience of George Michael , who released the solo single “ Careless Whisper ” in 1984, as a member duo wham! . However, these plans were not destined to come true due to the unwillingness of Dieter Bohlen to produce Anders' solo project.
