Geography

The district includes nearby villages: Kurulovka, Gorelki, Alyoshnia, Oktyabrsky. The district is separated from the central part of the city by the Upoy River, and from the Proletarsky District by the Tulitsa River. Zarechye is connected with the railway station area by the Zarechensky bridge (built in 1980), and with the Proletarsky - Demidovsky.

There are tram (6, 12, 15 routes), trolleybus (1, 2, 4, 6, 7 routes) and bus (1, 11, 21, 24, 25, 27-a, 36, 36-a routes) in Zarechye transport, as well as Ryazhsky station .

History

The district is one of the oldest parts of Tula , formed in 1595 , after blacksmiths settled there under the tsar's decree of Fedor Ioannovich to make weapons. In the territory of this region there used to be three settlements: Kuznetskaya, Goncharnaya and Yamskaya (in the modern beginning of Oktyabrskaya Street). Over time, they merged into one - Kuznetskaya, which later became known as the Armory. For a long time, this part of the city was isolated, being an exclusively gunsmithing area, which was reflected in the names of the streets: Dulnaya , Stvolnaya , Arsenalnaya , Porokhovaya , Shtykovaya , Kurkovaya .

March 27, 1929 By the decision of the Tula Council of People's Deputies, Tula was divided into three districts, including Zarechensky. [four]

Since 2015, the Zarechensky district of the city of Tula and 56 rural settlements of the Leninsky district of the region are part of the Zarechensky territorial district, organized within the framework of the corresponding municipality of Tula . [five]
