Villages is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Yershichsky district . It is located in the southern part of the region 14 km northwest of the Yershichi , 8.4 km southwest of the Ponyatovka station on the Roslavl - Krichev railway line , and 6 km east of the border with Belarus . The Iput River flows 1.5 km north of the village. The population is 165 inhabitants ( 2007 ). The administrative center of the Poselkovsky rural settlement.
