Subaru R2 is a Subaru car manufactured in Japan from November 2003 to March 2010. With this model, Subaru tried to return to the promising small car market (“ keycar ” have preferential taxation in Japan). The name R2 was already used in 1969-1972. The exterior R2 is very similar to its predecessor, the Subaru Pleo , but, unlike the square Pleo, has rounded body shapes.
