Byron Dorgan
Byron Leslie Dorgan ( born Byron Leslie Dorgan ; born May 14, 1942 ) is an American politician, a former US senator from North Dakota , a member of the Democratic Party .
Biography
He graduated from the University of North Dakota (1964) and the University of Denver (1966).
In 1981-1992 - Member of the US House of Representatives . In 1992, he was elected to the US Senate . He was re-elected in 1998 and 2004.
He was a member of the Commission on Hunger Research in Ukraine, founded in 1986 by the US Congress.
