Pfeiffer, Theodore (musician)

Theodor Pfeiffer ( German: Theodor Pfeiffer ; October 20, 1853 , Heidelberg - 1929 ) - German pianist .

He studied under Hans von Bülow and is best known for publishing his “Lectures” ( German Studien bei Hans von Bülow ) in 1894 , immediately after the death of von Bülow. These lectures withstood six editions by 1908 , were translated into several foreign languages ​​(including into Russian in 1896 by Alexander Bukhovtsev ); in 1896 , another student of von Bülow Vian da Mott published an addendum to them [1] , with which Bülow's book was subsequently reprinted.
