Ebal (Oybal, dr. Greek Οἴβαλος ) - a character of ancient Greek mythology [5] , the king of Sparta . Son of Perier (son of Kinort ). His wife was Naiad Batia . According to the version, his children were Tyndareus , Hippocoont and Ikarius . [6] According to another pedigree, the son of Kinort , the husband of the Gorgophone, and the father of Tyndareus. [7] Sanctuary in Sparta [8] .
