According to him, the need to write this work arose from the fact that despite the fact that the work of "Being and Consciousness" advanced him in solving many questions about the relationship between the nature of the mental and the phenomena of the material, but the very problem of being and consciousness in it, According to the author, was not covered until the end. Moreover, as stated by Sergei Leonidovich, the formulation of the question as it sounds in the first book cannot be final.
Work history
The work “Man and the World” became the last work by S.L. Rubinstein, the author died before he could finish the manuscript. KA Abulkhanova - was authorized by the author to complete this work. According to her, she needed only to compile a single generalized plan from the set of plans of the second part. The book "Man and the World" was published only in 1973 , that is, 13 years after the death of the author.
