Story
In this series, Lee Majors plays Colt Sivers, a Hollywood stuntman who works as a private detective and a bounty hunter in between filming. He uses his physical abilities and knowledge of tricks (especially car tricks that he performs on GMC pickups ) to catch fugitives and criminals. In this he is helped by his cousin - beginner stuntman Howie Manson ( Douglas Barr ) and his girlfriend Jody Banks ( Heather Thomas ).
Usually, the episode begins with the command of Sivers performing some kind of trick for a movie or television series, and then they are assigned to find a person who, for example, did not pay the debt. His case, as a rule, turns out to be more complicated than it seemed. During the fight against villains, Sievers performs a stunt trick, similar to what was shown at the beginning.
The series is full of cameo , in which Hollywood celebrities appear and eccentric jokes that refer viewers to the previous Majority series, “The Six Million Dollar Man”.
Title song
At the very beginning of each episode, the screensaver and captions are accompanied by the song “Unknown Stuntman” ( English “The Unknown Stuntman” , ( mp3 ). This song, the text of which was written by Glen A. Larson , Gail Jensen and David Sommerville, is performed by Lee Majores himself. The text mentions the former wife of Majorzhor, Farrah Fawcett and other Hollywood stars Sally Field , Raquel Welch , Cheryl Tigs and others.
