Starosandovsky lake is a small lake in the Sandovsky district of the Tver region , in the vicinity of the village of Old Sandovo , about a kilometer north-east of the Khabotskoye-Molokovo-Sandovo highway and a kilometer west of the Dynino railway station .

Starosandovskoye Lake is a popular holiday destination for Sandovans, a place for swimming and fishing. However, in recent years, Arm-Ross has deployed mining of gravel, gravel, and sand near the lake and its environs.
In the summer of 2011, Sandova journalist Alexandra Lisitsina noted a significant drop in the water level in Starosand Lake due to the active withdrawal of water for washing gravel by the Arm-Ross mining company [1] [2] .
