Russkoye is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Shumyachsky district . It is located in the southwestern part of the region, 10 km west of Shumyachy , 8 km north of the border with Belarus , on the right bank of the Oster River. The population is 524 inhabitants ( 2007 ). The administrative center of the Russian rural settlement.
