Zdenek Bruderhans ( Czech Zdeněk Bruderhans ; born July 29, 1934 , Prague ) - Czech - Australian flutist and music teacher.

He graduated from the Prague Academy of Music . In 1955 - 1959 in the orchestra of the Prague National Theater . In 1959 he was awarded the first prize of the Prague Spring International Music Festival . In 1960 - 1968 The first flute of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra .
After the suppression of the Prague Spring he emigrated. In 1969 - 1973 taught in Sweden , then moved to Australia. In 1973 - 1997 taught at the University of Adelaide, in 1987 - 1988 . Dean of the music department.
In the concert repertoire and discography of Bruderhans, compositions and arrangements for solo flute occupy a special place, ranging from the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann to Bohuslav Martinou .
