Hubad itself ( Sloven . Samo Hubad ; July 17, 1917 , Ljubljana , Austria-Hungary - August 31, 2016 , Skaruchna , Middle Slovenia , Slovenia ) is a Yugoslav and Slovenian conductor . The son of the composer Matei Hubad .

Biography

He studied composition and conducting with Slavko Osterc and Danilo Schwara , then improved his skills under the direction of Carlo Tsekka and Vaclav Talih .
From 1942 he worked in the Ljubljana Opera, in 1948 - 1952 he was its director.
In 1947 - 1966 , he constantly worked with the Orchestra of the Slovene Philharmonic , in 1955 - 1957 - simultaneously the main conductor of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra .
In 1966 - 1980 he headed the Symphony Orchestra of Slovenian Radio and Television .
Five-time laureate of the Orpheus prize of the Yugoslav Radio and Television.
